In moments of uncertainty and darkness, we turn our eyes heavenwards, as if calling for a higher power to take us away from our earthly travails. But hanging in the velvet night, there is a light, watching over us.
Dark Protection is inspired by the legend of Kizkalesi. A king knowing his daughter will die out of poison by a snake, he builds a castle on an island in the middle of the ocean where no snakes live. The princess lives in the castle as if imprisoned to be protected by facing her fate.
In fact the collection becomes a place of discovery, where feelings are reflected in the light, vanishing dark thoughts away. Positivity and purity become the palette from which silhouettes are cut. Draped in its gleaming rays, structures appear clearly, textures stand bright – every silhouette, an exercise in precision, a promise of power, a deep view into the mysterious immensity.
